So a while back we decided to submit SPINNR in the student category of the 2010 IGF competition. We really had no idea what to expect as the previous years had some fantastic entries, and our title wouldn't stand a chance against what some of the most creative minds would be offering this time around. We were right. However, only partially right. Much to my shock upon checking the latest update, we had received an honorable mention. This is not nearly as glamorous as being selected as a finalist and showing off the goods at the GDC in March, but all things considered its a pretty good step in the right direction. There were nearly 200 entries in this years student category; we were in the top 20. While there might not have been prize money, awards, or super crazy publishing deals associated with it, we certainly have an achievement to be proud of.
